Blockemon Brawl

Game made for the GMTK 2023 game jam.

The theme is: Roles Reversed

In this pokemon-like game instead of being a blockemon trainer, you control the trainer's blockemon and have to listen to his commands (or don't).

Play it fullscreen! click on the blue button in the bottom right corner.
It doesn't play very well otherwise.

The game plays like a 3th person shooter. You control each blockemon the trainer sends out, but he decides what pokemon he sends out.

He will also tell you what move to use, but you can choose to ignore his wishes. This will make him angry, which causes him to send in another blockemon.
(The trainer's current happiness is displayed by the pink bar above his head, when it is empty he will switch in another pokemon.)
A Blockemon that often refuses to do what the trainer says might also be replaced by a newly captured wild blockemon.
